CNBC: Stock Market & Business App Reviews

The latest update was a step backwards. It no longer opens on the last page I was on. I have to use it least 2 selects to get to my watch list every time I start the app.

Been using CNBC app for years mostly for watch lists, and longer stock percentage move information, all in all satisfied.

Non business news dilutes what I want to know.

Used to be a good app but now requires you to create an account in order to have a watchlist at least on the iPad version. Also takes too long to load stories. I have to believe that CNBC can do better.

I work as a financial advisor, and this app does a terrific job of capturing a summary of ideas along with delivering headline pieces truly in real time. I downloaded and deleted a number of other news apps, including Bloomberg, because the CNBC app was just faster, cleaner, and better. Is this an all-encompassing platform where I take everything as sacred? No, I filter these ideas with that thing people forget they have - a brain. But does it help me build awareness of current events in a frustration-free way for me to start thinking about concepts in discussion with family, friends, and clients? Absolutely.

Has smoothed out a lot of glitches-bugs to enjoy this app on Iphone &pad. Very informative, up to date in real time & easily viewed and understood. Needs to keep up on latest tech and implement in a creative way and yet keep an abc approach. Good job!

The CNBC app is a great way of quickly checking the most important segments of the equity and bond market.

Best App... Hands Down

The app doesnt work. I tried to watch one of their elusive shows via the app and it repeatedly said that its not available to viewers outside of the U.S. I clearly clicked and double checked that I am registered as a U.S. viewer. WTH?!

The UI for the recent release is very easy to use on both the iPad and iPhone. The news briefs are very efficient.

I used CNN money in the past for their clean feed of the news. They recently updated that app and ruined it. So I went searching. I found the CNBC app does a really good job of providing some of the same clean news feed. It could be a little better on how you customize the layout in the order you want by sector, but its definitely better than the others. The tracking of my stocks and watchlist is great. Its one of the few I found that tracks after hours quotes. With a few tweaks, this could be fantastic!

Below is review written weeks ago...problem still exist. Also when achieved slow finishes screen goes to black in expanded mode. Can not undue...must delete app and reload Earlier comment ...The commercial audio over laps the beginning of the next segment of Mad Money and FastMoney when played from archives. Also midway though a lot of times the achieve piece starts over and its audio overlaps previous video...this occurs after returning from commercial. Achieved video on History and HGTV have NO problem. This app should be replace with a completely new one

CNBC posts good articles on the markets, news, and market movers. I check multiple times a day.

Want more financial news, less politics. Politics are pretty biased at that. Handle politics like Cramer does... focusing on effect of politics on market.

Aside from trying to slander and destroy Trump during, and prior to the elections; CNBC is quite solid in updating me on the markets.

Love having easy access to my stock quotes anywhere.

Responsive; doesnt take too many resources. Best aspect is the content, in comparison to Bloomberg and Reuters I find the writing style as well as the content slightly better.

I had all kinds of problems with previous versions, including constant crashing, unable to login automatically and not working on Apple Watch properly. Seems that those problems are now fixed. This app (or should I say this particular version) is now recommended.
